Abstract
During investigations on the constituents of the trunk bark of A. rhombeosignatum Markgraf, among several others, two new natural indole alkaloids were isolated, limaspermidine
(or 21 hydroxy–aspidospermidine) (lia) and 15, 16, 17 trimethoxy–21–oxoaspidoalbidine
(III b). Both of them have previously been reported as synthetic products.
